Stewart Island Experience ferry

Stewart Island Experience ferry

The Stewart Island Experience ferry is shown here passing Ruapuke Island in Foveaux Strait. Although the strait can be rough and stormy, modern vessels manage the crossing with relative ease. Use of catamarans has also significantly reduced the time taken.
