The Katipo newspaper

The Katipo newspaper

The Katipo was the monthly paper of the Post and Telegraph Officers’ Association, one of New Zealand’s largest public-sector unions in the early 20th century. The masthead of this 1907 issue illustrates the variety of jobs carried out by union members, shown as symbolically linking the country together.
