Directions to a farmstay

This sign directs tourists to the Willowbank Farmstay. Farmstays have become more common since the 1980s, when economic conditions made it desirable for farmers to find other sources of income. Like homestays, they offer accommodation in the host’s home – in this case, the farmhouse.
