Waka ama champions

Racing waka ama, traditional Polynesian outrigger canoes, is popular in and beyond New Zealand. The New Zealand Masters Women’s crew are jubilant after winning the 500-metre sprint at the world championships held at Lake Karāpiro in March 2006.
