Combined family wedding, 1901

These weddings united the Schollum, Becher, Karl, Lambert and Remiger families. Leading the wedding parties are three musicians, one playing a dudelsack (a central European version of the bagpipes). The sound has been described as ‘a shrill, plaintive and invariant tone’.
