In 1991 Wellington composer Gareth Farr won a Fulbright fellowship to study for a Masters in composition at New York's Eastman School of Music. Twenty years later he reflected on what the experience had meant for him. This extract from a video interview also shows Farr performing one of his compositions with flautist Catherine Bowie.
