The Dunedin-based Scoullar and Chisholm was among New Zealand's largest manufacturing furniture warehouses in the early 1900s. This advertisement highlights how such enterprises both manufactured and imported furniture. The sale included pieces one of the owners had obtained from 'Home' (Britain).
