Cartoon about Michael Campbell, 2005

Cartoon about Michael Campbell, 2005

This cartoon by Tom Scott, published on the occasion of golfer Michael Campbell's victory in the US Open, highlights the fact that for many years the only New Zealand golfer widely known by the New Zealand public was Bob Charles, winner of the British Open in 1963. Those are the only two occasions on which New Zealand golfers have won a major tournament.
