Celebrating engineering

A range of manufacturing skills and trades are shown in this 1948 mural, ‘Engineers’. It is one of five painted by New Zealand artist Dennis Knight Turner for trade unions. Since then New Zealand’s manufacturing industry has shrunk considerably.
