Very dignified in their best suits, the executive of the New Zealand Shearers’ Union meet at their second annual conference in 1910. This powerful union had many Māori members. The two Māori on the national executive are H. Hawkins (back row, third from left) and J. K. Morgan (middle row, second from left).
