Mabel Annie Newlands (left) from New Zealand and Marga Klompe from the Netherlands explain human rights to children at a United Nations meeting in Paris in 1948. Newlands and Klompe were both delegates to the negotiations that culminated in the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
