Story: Dolphins
The waters around Banks Peninsula are a stronghold for Hector’s dolphins. Perhaps they are a relic population, or food may be more readily available there. They move around between the peninsula’s deeply indented bays and harbours, and sometimes 50 or more can be seen in a bay at one time.
