The KiwiCross breed

The KiwiCross breed

KiwiCross cows were bred in New Zealand by crossing Friesian-Holsteins with Jersey cows, to produce an animal midway in size between the two parents and with the advantages of both. They have good udders, excellent longevity, and calve easily. Their gestation period is seven days less than Friesian-Holsteins.
