Story: Chatham Islands

Comparing the Chathams with New Zealand

In this clip from the Heartland television series, Gary McCormick talks to 19-year-old Chatham Islander Celestine Lanauze during a women's darts competition – the only time when women outnumber men in the local pub. Celestine talks about her experiences of 'going out' to New Zealand and how different she finds it there compared with the good life that she has on the Chathams.
