This group of anti-abortion activists gathered in front of Parliament to place a tiny coffin on the steps, say the rosary and pray together. In September 1976 Don Gee (second from right) started going to Parliament every day the Auckland Medical Aid Centre, an abortion clinic, was open. He and those who joined him believed that a decline in the number of abortions was a result of their prayers.
