Narrow-leaved lacebark (Hoheria angustifolia) is a slender tree with light green, weeping foliage. It is most commonly found on the eastern side of the main mountain ranges. It has a twiggy, small-leaved juvenile phase which lasts until the plant is about two metres high. Its adult leaves are narrow and coarsely toothed. It flowers prolifically in late summer, producing a mass of white, starry flowers.
