Eastern Vineyards

George Antunovich set up Eastern Vineyards in 1939. By the 1960s table wines were becoming popular in Auckland and winemakers provided restaurants with Old World names. Moselle, a semi-sweet wine, is named after Mosel, a German wine-growing region.
