King Kapisi

Polynesian New Zealanders have made an important contribution to rap music in New Zealand. King Kapisi (Bill Urale) was born in New Zealand of Samoan parents, and his heritage infuses his music. The video for 'Screems from da old plantation' (2000), shown above, was filmed in Samoa.
