Using a Thermette

A comforting sight in New Zealand campgrounds and at roadsides for nearly a century, the Thermette is one of the country’s most widely used inventions. Invented by Manawatū plumber John Hart in 1929, it boils water quickly and efficiently using almost any fuel and in all conditions.
