Tū ai a Māhinaarangi ki te marae o Tūrangawaewae i Ngāruawāhia. I te whakatūnga o te marae, ka ea te tongi a Tāwhiao te kīngi Māori tuarua i tāna i kī ai, ko Ngāruawāhia tōna tūrangawaewae. Nāwai, ka tangohia tēnei whakaaro e ngā iwi hei kupu whakarite mō ō rātou marae.
