I kitea tēnei waka kōiwi i tētahi ana kōiwi i Waimamaku, takiwā i Te Hokianga. He kaitiaki te mokomoko. Nā te wehi o te iwi, tirohia ai te ngārara – ahakoa tūturu, ahakoa whakairo – anō he kaitiaki.
