E anga ana tēnei tirohanga atu i Whatipu ki Manukau. Koinei te whanga kei te tonga o Tāmaki. Ko te tikanga o te ingoa, ‘he taunga nō te manu’, nā te tokomaha o te kūaka me te tōrea ka heke ki ōna tātahi i ngā raumati. Heoi kei a Te Arawa me Tainui ā rātou ake kōrero mō tēnei.
