This map of Raoul Island, with coastal profiles of potential landing spots and the other islands of the Kermadec group, was prepared in 1793 by French explorer Antoine Raymond Joseph de Bruni d’Entrecasteaux. Joseph Raoul was the quartermaster of one of the two ships under d'Entrecasteaux's command.
