David Evans and Veronika Evans-Gander own Passage Rock Wineries on Waiheke Island. Like most New Zealand wineries, it is small and family-owned, producing quality boutique-style wines. Their red wines, especially the syrahs, have won many top awards at New Zealand wine shows.
