Story: Whanganui places
Robin Morrison’s evocative photograph shows St Joseph’s Catholic church at Jerusalem (Hiruhārama), on the Whanganui River, 12 kilometres downstream from Pipiriki. The church was designed by Thomas Turnbull in 1892–93.
