Scaup diving

Scaup diving

Scaup usually feed on the floor of lakes and rivers, diving to depths of 3 metres. This tank at Ngā Manu Reserve on the Kapiti Coast, near Wellington, allows visitors to see the little ducks underwater as they dive for food, propelled by their feet.
