Martinborough reinvented

Martinborough reinvented

Since the 1990s the rural service town of Martinborough has reinvented itself as a wine village. Many of its buildings have been gentrified – or moved from other areas – and contain eateries and specialty shops, mainly catering for tourists. The Martinborough Hotel has become a symbol of this transformation.
