Wrybill feeding at a stream (1st of 2)

This wrybill is at its summer breeding grounds in the Mackenzie Basin, feeding at the edge of a stony stream. Its diet during breeding includes aquatic insects and their eggs and larvae, and fish eggs, which it can reach from under stones with its bent bill.
