‘Picket fence’ of anglers

Anglers wear chest-high waders that allow them to fish well out into the ‘rip’, where the waters of the Waitahanui Stream meet Lake Taupō. They often form a line or ‘picket fence’ – especially at dawn and dusk, when the fish are feeding.
