Story: Coaches and long-distance buses

A southern tour

In this 1963 film clip, ‘a cheery coachful speeds south’ from Christchurch at the start of an extensive tour of the southern South Island, in a Mount Cook coach. Many coach companies ran tours for domestic and overseas tourists.
