Live sheep exports

Live sheep exports

In October 2003 the Saudi Arabian government refused to let a shipment of live sheep land after rumours of a disease problem on board. The sheep were stranded, and thousands died while a diplomatic row erupted. Bob Brockie’s cartoon shows angry sheep complaining about the lack of facilities on the ship.
