Rongo-i-te-kai, Mahinaarangi, Māui, Paikea and Tōmuri Keane each hold a tiny piece of dirt. If they inherited the shares held by their kuia (nanny) in one small block with hundreds of owners, their shares would literally be the size of these pieces.
