Jaywalkers

As motorised traffic began to dominate streets, pedestrians had to be ‘educated’ to keep off roadway. This 1952 government road safety film, Pedestrians or jaywalkers, uses a series of comic incidents to warn pedestrians about carelessly stepping off footpaths.
