The Kingston Flyer
The video shows the Kingston Flyer train running across the open country of northern Southland in 1975. At the time, this tourist train ran the 60 kilometres between Kingston and Lumsden, but in 2008 the train ran only from Kingston to Fairlight, 14 kilometres away.
