Oyster-opening competitors

The Bluff Oyster and Southland Seafood Festival takes place in late April each year. Thousands of people come to sample fresh seafood and watch the festival highlight – the oyster-opening competition. Displaying their shucking skills are some of the competitors in 2003, including the mayor of Invercargill, Tim Shadbolt.
