Olympic Youth Club picnic

By the 1950s, it was acceptable for men to bare their chests at the beach, and the woollen trunks were being replaced by synthetic, quick-drying materials. These young men from the Greek community pose on their Chevrolet van, at Paremata Beach in 1959.
