Korean culture: K-pop stars

Members of Auckland’s ACE Dance crew, from left Kary Cuo, Tina Wu, Vivian Xu, Pingping Pua and Mina Han, were photographed in 2015. They were exponents of K-Pop, a unique style of Korean pop music accompanied by synchronised dance moves which has gained a following among New Zealanders of all cultures. In 2014 ACE dance crew came second in the New Zealand heat of the K-Pop World Festival, and their performances featured on Korean and Chinese TV channels.
