Story: Plays and playwrights

Justin Lewis and Jacob Rajan

Justin Lewis and Jacob Rajan

Playwrights Justin Lewis (left) and Jacob Rajan began collaborating in 1996. Their first joint production, Krishnan's dairy, was a solo show performed by Rajan and produced and directed by Lewis. Since then, under the collective name Indian Ink, they have created The pickle king, The candlestickmaker, The dentist's chair and Kiss the fish. This photo shows them in 2010 with their portable set for The guru of chai, another solo show performed by Rajan.
