John 'Boggy' McDowell, 2012

John 'Boggy' McDowell is shown here on 21 December 2012, the day he retired from Classic Hits FM in Invercargill. He had started on the breakfast show of what was then known as Southland's 4ZA on 1 June 1979. McDowell did not retire from radio – he moved to Coast FM in January 2013.
