Rosalind Hursthouse, around 2006

English-born Rosalind Hursthouse is a professor of philosophy at the University of Auckland and was head of the philosophy department from 2002 to 2005. She is internationally recognised for her work in virtue ethics, which examines moral character and expression of virtues with respect to behaviour.
