Rom Harré, 2011

New Zealand-born philosopher Rom Harré has gained international recognition for his work in the philosophy of science, and is regarded as a founder of modern social psychology. Here he conducts a philosophy of science workshop at the University of Tartu's Institute of Philosophy and Semiotics in Estonia.

Despite decades living overseas, Harré has maintained his connection to New Zealand. He gave lectures at Massey University in 1994 and 2007, and participated in an online seminar for Massey graduate students from 2004. He was awarded an honorary doctorate by Massey in 2012.
