Launch of As I see it by Eric Lee-Johnson, 1969

Artist Eric Lee-Johnson signs copies of his book, As I see it, at a book launch in Dargaville in 1969. The book was published by Collins, a British publisher that had a presence in New Zealand from the late 19th century, and then like many publishers began to expand their New Zealand list in the 1960s and 1970s. Collins merged with Harper and Row in 1990 to form HarperCollins. In 2013 its New Zealand distribution arm was closed and distribution of their books in New Zealand was moved to Australia.
