Fans at the All Whites versus Bahrain game, 2009

New Zealand fans wave the New Zealand flag and their white shirts at the end of the New Zealand–Bahrain world cup qualifying game in Westpac Stadium, Wellington, in November 2009. With their 1–0 victory, the All Whites qualified to take part in the football world cup finals in South Africa. During the last few minutes of the match the sell-out crowd was ecstatic and produced scenes of celebration which had never before been seen at a sports ground in New Zealand.
