The Black Ferns celebrate world cup victory, 2010

The New Zealand women's rugby team, the Black Ferns, won the Women's Rugby World Cup four times in succession with victories at Amsterdam in 1998, Barcelona in 2002, Edmonton in 2006 and London in 2010.  Their 13–10 victory over England in the 2010 final brought great joy to the team as this photo suggests. But, at the time, the scale of their achievement was under-recognised at home.
