Crocheted cuties

Crocheted cuties

These small crocheted figures were made in 2012 and 2013 by a group of Wellington women who regularly meet to craft and chat together. At top are the members of British band the Beatles in their Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band costumes, made by Karen Astwood. The figures in the back row of the lower photo are Squidwin, the 11th Doctor Who (both made by Beth Starrenburg) and Penguid (Keira Miller). The other creatures, made by Andrea Hearfield, include Star wars characters C3PO, Princess Leia and R2D2, Captain Mal Reynolds (Firefly) and a penguin.
