Sarah Ulmer rides a victory lap after winning the 3000-metre individual pursuit race at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. It was New Zealand's first Olympic cycling gold medal. Sarah came from a legendary cycling family. Her grandfather, Ron Ulmer, was a national cycling champion in the 1930s and her father, Gary, was a 1950s cycling champion.
