Stacey Jones (5th of 5)

Stacey Jones

Known as 'the little general' because of his capacity to direct an attack and his relatively small size, Stacey Jones played 46 tests for New Zealand as halfback and occasionally five-eighth between 1995 and 2006. Jones was a key player in the Kiwis' 2005 Tri-Nations victory. He also showed notable loyalty to the Warriors in the late 1990s, when the team was struggling. Jones's grandfather, Hone 'Maunga' Emery, played for the Kiwis and New Zealand Māori team in the 1960s.
