In this photograph of the general committee of the first New Zealand Authors' Week, held in 1936, Johannes Andersen is second from right in the front row and Harold Beauchamp is seated in the centre (with J. W. Heenan standing at his right shoulder). At the far right stands Pat Lawlor, and fifth from left, Stuart Perry.
