Tin mining: dam and pipe

A dam and pipe are reminders of the tin mining that was carried out in the Tin Range behind Port Pegasus from the 1880s to the 1930s. The water was channelled through the pipe and directed onto the tin-bearing deposits to flush the tin out, as with alluvial gold.
