Patriotic school group, Willowbridge

Only a few New Zealand Irish supported the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin, which sparked a movement for independence from the British. In the same year this group expressed its patriotism in the strongly Irish community of Willowbridge, near Waimate in South Canterbury.
